Trunk Shows
S. Charles Collezione Trunk Show
February 11th – 25th
Stacy Charles’ signature line of yarn is synonymous with fashion and luxury. Fashion forward and totally textural, his yarns are made to mix-and-match. Chic, sophisticated patterns let you achieve it with an artful eye toward color and surface design. Stacy’s spring collection is inspiring.
Berroco Trunk Show
Classic yarns featuring linen blends along with some fun and whimsy describe the collection from Berroco. Their designs are a result of the intelligence of Norah Gaughan and the fashion-forward sense of Margery Winter. Spring ’08 is full of must knit, must crochet, must wear items.
Classic Elite Trunk Show
A WEBS’ favorite, Classic Elite delivers another season of timeless yarns and designs. The creative vision of Pam Allen is evident throughout the collection. She truly understands fiber, its properties and how to best use it in garment construction. You will want one of everything from this season’s collection in your wardrobe.

WEBS EXPERT KNITTERS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
WEBS Mission Statement
An Expert Knitter needs only yarn, needles and measurements to construct hats, mittens, socks, and sweaters of various types. An Expert Knitter has acquired the knowledge to master additional techniques independently.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition to our regular class offerings, WEBS has developed a new program leading to certification as a WEBS Expert Knitter. Our goal is to provide our students with the skills an Expert Knitter must possess by means of a varied, interesting, and comprehensive curriculum. We have designated a total of sixteen classes/workshops as Core Requirements. There will also be three required electives, one in knitting and one in each of two other disciplines such as crochet, weaving, spinning, etc. A Capstone Project will be the culmination of the program for students. This project will require students to utilize the skills they have learned to design and knit an original sweater of any style from measurements. For this final project, students will be assigned a mentor for support, consultation and advice. The final project will be reviewed by a committee and, if accepted, the WEBS’ Expert Knitters Certificate will be awarded.
All knitters are encouraged to participate in this program and to progress at their own speed. Completion of the program will take a minimum of 2 1/2 years. Classes are open to all students regardless of participation in the program. Students in the program will receive priority registration each semester.
Students may be assured that WEBS will provide quality classes taught by talented and qualified teachers and that all participants will be fully supported in this serious and creative endeavor. Further, many of our classes will be scheduled for evenings and weekends to fit into your busy lives.
A yearly fee of $50.00 will be the only additional charge for participation in the program over and above the usual course and materials fees.
For further information, please contact Pixie Benoist at WEBS or via e-mail at
