Brassard 8/2 Cottolin is a beautiful blend of 60% organic cotton and 40% linen. 8/2 Cottolin weaving yarn has a great hand, and comes in a gorgeous range of colors - including natural and bleached. This yarn is conveniently put up on 1/2 pound tubes, with 1680 yards to a tube.
Note: The dyed colors (all but natural and bleached) are priced slightly more due to the cost of dye and the dyeing process.
Color Cards are available for this yarn.
This yarn is sold in whole cones (or tubes). Wind-offs are not available for this yarn.

Brassard 8/2 Cottolin is very nice & dependable to work with. As this is my first time using it I can only speak for its strength & beautiful selection of colors. I hear that it is VERY colorfast and I look forward to it passing that test. If it it does, I will invest in their line again.
This is my first time using the cotton-linen blend. It is very strong and the Brassard colors are beautiful. I only have a few at present for trying, but once the towels are off the loom and get washed I will assess & decide if I'm to become a collector! I do look forward to warping with it in the future as it seems finer (or firmer, less fuzzy) than the 8/2 cotton warp that I already had on the loom. I would definitely seek out the Brassard line for trustworthy, consistent quality in all their offerings.
I am very pleased with the 8/2 cottolin, so much that I made multiple purchases of this yarn. I would definitely recommend it.
