I purchased the burnished gold color to make a dress for a toddler. The color is stunning, a light gold with a strong green undertone. This yarn is soft, sturdy and has a light haze. I wish it came in more colors.
I bought this yarn for a specific knitting pattern that used both Cascade Heritage 6 in Highlighter Pink and a different contrast yarn. When they say “highlighter,” they’re not kidding - it is SO bright that on its own it almost hurts the eyes. As a contrast color, though, it’s gorgeous! The actual yarn is nicely smooth with just a slight amount of fuzzy halo, and very, very soft. Bonus - it’s not at all splitty. The squish factor is pretty great. I used probably 2/3 of one ball of Heritage 6 to knit the “Assignment” wrap by Brian Smith. If you order this yarn online, do turn down your screen brightness first. That’s not an exaggeration, especially at night. Overall I’m very pleased with this yarn and will use the leftovers for sock toes, heels, and cuffs.
Soft, great definition.
Soft yarn, great definition.
Made a Taylor Swift Eras sweater for a family member. It was a great hit! Pleasant to work with. Nice twist and stitch definition.
Beautiful and soft yarn. Love the socks I made with this yarn.
Great yarn, so soft. I made a pair of socks and they turned out beautifully. The yarn s a little splitty, which was a bit of an issue when doing the twin stitches in the shadow wrap heel, but otherwise, I’m very happy with the way the socks turned out. I was a little concerned about using superwash wool and it’s tendency to “grow” after washing, but I had no problems and the socks fit perfectly even though I made no adjustments for superwash yarn.
Knitting up nicely so far. Sometimes the strands get separated., and there was one little knot.
Cascade Heritage 6 has great stitch definition good texture. I find it to have good yardage , good price point and a wide variety of colors. I have never experienced any fading or pilling in the garments made with this yarn. I would highly recommend it as a great yarn for projects at a reasonable cost.
Knits up beautifully! I'm currently knitting a textured pattern and I'm so pleased with this yarn. It's definitely a favorite and I'm planning to use it on several future projects.
