The Knitter's Pride Karbonz Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Set features special shorter tips that measure 16" from tip to tip when assembled with the cord. Karbonz tips are comprised of strong yet flexible carbon fiber shafts topped with nickel-plated brass points for the ultimate smooth knitting experience. It's best to tighten your needles by holding the base. Click here to see how it's done.

I’ve been working with the karbonz double points for years and had been dreaming of replacing the majority of my aluminum fixed circulars for almost as long. I’m glad I finally did. The past week has been dreamy. The body has a grip like wood for delicate and slippery lace work, the points are fine enough to easily pick up the tiniest stitches, minimal resistance when passing tighter stitches over the cord transition (none at all when I’m working with a more even tension), not to mention the strength of the needles themselves. Changing out needles is a breeze, they stay locked, never loosen and the organizational case is nice.
