The beautiful color selection makes Lopi Léttlopi perfect for Fair Isle work, from warm sweaters and mittens to resilient pillows. It is great for felting as well. Note that some do not find Léttlopi comfortable to wear next to skin.

I have knit with Lopi yarns for many years, and have enjoyed using their sweater patterns. Lite Lopi has been my yarn of choice in the last 10 years. I went on an extended online search for a particular color called Galaxy through the pandemic and finally found it. I will continue to use Lopi's Icelandic patterns and the various wools they make.
Lettlopi is one of my favorite yarns to use. The price and quality are both great, and I love that I can make a sweater with it for only $50-60. I ordered this yarn because WEBS did not have enough of the colorway at their physical location. It shipped out quickly, and I received all the same dye lot. No complaints here!
I first discovered Lopi yarns while traveling in Iceland many years ago and have continued to purchase it to make warm sweaters, hats and gloves. It is a hearty, sturdy wool from sheep that are bred to withstand harsh climate conditions. This particular purchase in the deep red color is for a hat in the school color of a college-bound friend.
This yarn is extremely rough and unpleasant to touch. It’s stiff and inflexible.
This is the scratchiest yarn I’ve ever felt. It feels like twine. It’s stiff too. The colors are gorgeous. I don’t know what I can use it for.
Yarn is very stiff and harsh. Will not purchase again.
The yarn provides warmth & yet breaths. I knit mittens on size 3 needle for a warm tight knit fabric.
This is my second purchase of this yarn, and I absolutely love it! I made fingerless mitts out of it, and I was able to put them to the test last weekend during a rare Arctic freeze in the South. They kept my hands very warm. My only complaint is that it does stretch a bit with wear. I was wishing I had gone down a needle size or two for the ribbing around the fingers. Otherwise, this yarn is just gorgeous and very warm! I plan on making full mitts out of it next time.
User friendly website and fast delivery made my day! Letlopi is a rugged yarn which is what I wanted. Knits up well and is very durable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a yarn of this type.
It's amazing for Icelandic sweater knitting. It feels a little rough. But after washing, it becomes so soft and fluffy. Highly recommend!
