Perfect for anything, baby
PERFECT baby yarn. I have always been very happy with Plymouth's quality, This is so soft and "cushy" for baby/toddler items!
Great yarn and so soft
Yarn works up well, is easy to work with, and color is as pictured. Nice price too. I'd use it again for suitable projects.
This is a lovely yarn, very soft and easy to use. It doesn’t have very good stitch definition, so I would not recommend it for a project with lots of cables. I purchased it for a baby sweater and was very pleased with the colors and feel of the yarn, but I changed the pattern when I swatched it and realized it would not show off the intricate stitches I had planned. A simple stitch shows it off to the best advantage. The gray color has a strong pale blue undertone which is particularly elegant, and the beige color has a lot of life to it, not at all too dull for a stylish baby. I am not a big fan of most acrylic yarn, but the yarns I tried were not too “squeaky” or too bright and fake looking, the way some acrylic yarns can be. I am very picky about baby yarns and this one is a keeper.
Have used Dreambaby for years as I knit for a pregnancy center. I like the paint pot yarn and have several patterns. But when I began knitting with my most recent order, the pattern was NOT the same...more like fair island and it was not what I had intended. I realize you have changed the name of the yarn but I still think it is best used for babies and toddlers.
I made 2 baby blankets with this yarn and was VERY pleased with the out-come. Will use this again when I do more baby items.
It is great yarn for a baby blanket. I knit car seat/stroller blankets with it and everyone loves them.
