The two photos are from two different balls of the yarn. Garden Variety I had purchased on line from WEBS. The second ball I had purchased from a yarn shop in Utah, USA. The shop had given me the name of the scarf to purchase on Ravelry. I loved the colors of the yarn and how they came out in the pattern. So I decided to knit a second scarf for spring in the Garden Variety yarn.
Lovely and soft, makes a beautiful shawl. Highly recommend. Great choice of other colorways for this yarn and I’m deciding which ones to buy next. Webs has always provided excellent products and service.
The yarn has been very rough and splits very easily. I ended up ripping out the sock I was knitting. Colors were muddy too.
Beautiful color combinations and shading. A little bit splitty but just check you work every free rows. Knots up to be a soft yet sturdy sock. I've already made three pairs!
