Product Details
This is what happens when a sweater and a song get stuck in your head on a walk through the snowy woods. That, and your favorite dyer releases a new mohair-silk base. Cozy and perfect as a silvery winter’s day or whiskers on kittens. It’s your new favorite thing.
The top-down, drop shoulders require zero finishing (!) and are shaped with short rows to minimize underarm bulk, while the stunning, all-over cable pattern is way easier than it looks (you only have to cable every 10th row!).
The fabric is worked with the fingering yarn and mohair-silk laceweight held together to a DK gauge, and it’s intended to be worn with anywhere from 1-3” of positive ease. Because the cable pattern has a lot of stretch to it, however, there’s a lot of flexibility in the fit.
Stitches for the stockinette sleeves are picked up from around the armscye and worked down to the hem, but if you prefer to knit them separately and seam them in, that would be pretty easy (since it’s not a set-in sleeve).
