Bought in color goldenrod. Color was pretty far off from the manufacturer’s picture. I checked multiple sites and all had same photos no matter what screen, device, brightness, or color saturation setting I used nothing matched the dye lot sent to me. In person the yarn color is flat, very dissimilar, and quite a bit darker than the photos. I checked multiple times to see if I was sent the right color or if the yarn was mislabeled. Perhaps a bad batch from the manufacturer….Totally disappointed for such a large project (11 skeins!). The yarn itself was super dreamy: smooth, easy handle, excellent definition, squishy and wonderfully soft. I decided the project is too big and magical to waste time using an inappropriate (read terrible and quite pathetic looking) yarn color. I wanted to love it but the color was pretty awful. (It looks more like an over baked cookie rather than golden brown, bronze, or multidimensional brown shown annd none of the shading or dimensionality is present like in the other yarn colors either. I was so hoping for a unique shade of brown but this doesn’t cut the mustard. The manufacturer should’ve pulled these as they don’t reflect even remotely any of the other colors on offer, I’ll save up and buy something else somewhere else. If necessary driving around the world to find a good color or investigating the internets darkest corners to see photos of the actual yarn color in a swatch or real life project. An expensive lesson I will not repeat.
It’s is lovely soft and durable wool with very nice colors.
Very soft, easy to work with.
Very good for a cabled sweater
Great stitch definition, yet the yarn is soft, silky and easy to knit. I was impressed with the color range and how clean and consistent the yarn is.
This is a lovely, soft wool with good structure. Cables and like stitches are defined. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is clean. I haven't washed it yet, but I'm sure I will purchase this yarn again.
Love the denim color, easy to knit with and like the weight of the sweater.
The yarns a beautiful color and soft. I didn't realize though when I purchsed that a superwashed wool strips a wool yarn of its furry fibers that insulate heat and coats it in plastic. I like to try to make clothes from natural fibers and avoid microppastics whenever I can so this disappointed me. However Ill just come up with somthing else to make from this yarn. If you don't care about what I mentioned prior its a good yarn. Only other small issue I had was unraveling the skein to check for knots. I don't know if I just did it wrong or what but it took forever to wind into a ball. I think this was my fault though.
Lovley color and easyto knit!
