Bamboo Pop Sock by Universal Yarn has the softness and drape of the popular DK weight Bamboo Pop, but in a fingering weight with some added stretch from PBT, a type of stretchy polyester similar to Lycra. Machine-washable Bamboo Pop Sock is self-patterning and has a beautiful sheen, making it a great choice for socks, baby knits, shawls, and more—perfect for anyone who needs a wool-free yarn.

I have made three pairs of summer sox using this yarn. Just bought yarn for two more pairs. It is a little challenging to work with but your feet will thank you.
This yarn works up nicely. No fraying or tangles. I didn't use it for socks so I dont know how it is when used as purposed. But I like it.
