As always - the cotton is wonderful - -I am making a few washcloths for now!
The baby blanket I made turned out beautiful but the yarn was very hard to knit. It was just strings that barely stayed together. I’m an experienced knitter but had to be extremely careful to not split the yarn. I bought this yarn because it is organic and that is great. I just can’t recommend this yarn due to the structure.
The yarn was nice to work with but the color did not match what I saw online. It looked like a very pale green, was darker in real life. That is one of the reasons I don’t like to shop online, the colors do not photograph true.
This yarn is easy to knit with and soft, however unless you are making a cabled sweater, there is very little structure in the finished product. The yarn also goes a long way.
This is not the same yarn I worked with in the past when the label said Debbie Bliss Echo Baby. While the colors were still beautiful, the yarn split like crazy while knitting. I was doing a simple sweater in the round and had to check after every round for split threads. Absolutely hated working with it! Don’t buy.
Yarn seems soft and easy to work with.
