Velouria from E. Elliott Knits is a lovely women’s wrap with a V shape that
is easily styled in a variety of ways for an effortlessly dramatic look.
Valouria is knit flat from the center out using a sport weight yarn. First, you
make the chevron spine, and then you pick up stitches to work each side. The wings
are knit on the bias, ending with a slipped stitch pattern that mimics
corrugated ribbing.
Sizes: One Size
Finished Measurements: 45” long on each side; 15¼” wide; and 21¼” deep at spine
Yarn Requirements: Sport weight yarn such as Lana Grossa Ecopuno (72% Cotton/ 17% Merino Wool/ 11% Baby Alpaca; 50g/235yds)
MC – 1225 yards
CC – 401 yards
Needles:
US 6 (4.00mm) single points or circular
US 7 (4.50mm) single points or circular
Gauge: 24½ sts and 40 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 6 (4.00mm)
