Mohair from Malabrigo is a beautiful laceweight blend of mohair and silk. Great for shawls, scarves and lightweight garments, Mohair works well double-stranded with itself or your favorite Malabrigo yarns and will give your projects a unique marled look. With its stunning texture, airiness, and depth of color, Malabrigo Mohair is the yarn you didn't know you needed but won't be able to live without!
Malabrigo Mohair is produced in dye lots of 5. Any order for more than 5 skeins will be of mixed dye lots. Some colors do not have any dye lots.
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:
- Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
- When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

This yarn is beautiful and looked exactly as advertised.
The color is not as bright as it is on other fiber, but the yarn is undeniably Malabrigo. Beautiful drape and nice halo to the garment. I would suggest using wood or plastic needles since this is a slippery yarn.

This is a lustrous beauty that is taunting me to work with it. I can’t imagine how anyone would not love this beautiful and luxurious decadence of a yarn. It’s worked up so beautifully in a delicate scarf I stitched up with crochet hooks, so I know that knitting with this will definitely be a thing of beauty. Get some and enjoy it. Life is short and we have to make the best possible things with what we can get our hands on! Did I say how luminous it is?
