Be very careful if you are purchasing this yarn online. It is beautiful, soft, easy to use and the colors are glorious. However, the colors you see on your computer screen are nothing like the reality you will receive in the mail. Enjoy the surprise! If you are just making a lovely pair of socks this won’t matter. But if you are trying to match colors, or do color work on a pattern this could be a deal breaker. I recently purchased the “under the sea” color and when it arrived I was disappointed to discover it was essentially a solid dark navy blue. It is lovely, and I will use it for something else, but not according to plan. This is not the fault of the yarn, but my own fault. I will save up my Malabrigo purchases for when I make my yearly trek to Northampton to visit the mother ship. Some things should be seen in person to be believed.

That yarn is very pleasant to knit and the result is very beautiful.

The socks made with this yarn have been machine washed and dried with minimal shrinking and no pilling. Colors soften some but remain strong.
