This is a great all wool yarn for cozy projects. I purchased five skeins to make mittens for friends. The yarn was very fun to knit with. It has a light twist, so it can be a bit splitty, but with blunt tipped DPNs I made 5 pairs of mittens, quickly and easily. The wool will felt a bit from wearing, which is perfect for cozy mitts and they should be durable. I highly recommend this yarn for bulky projects, but I gave it four stars because when I measured my skein, they several of them were short on weight. Webs told me that skeins can be +/- 10% to meet industry standards because of change in weight due to humidity, etc, but all weighed at the same time they were anywhere from 102 grams down to only 93 grams. When you are working on a single skein project, those last 5-6 yards can be crucial and I ended up with 2 of 5 pairs with contrasting thumbs because I ran out of yarn (and did not want to pay another $16 for thumbs....) Desite that, it was a great yarn for knitting!
