TOIKA Wooden Raddle w/ Cape

My first warp on the Eeva Toika I thought to try using the reed as a raddle with pre-sleying to save the cash but that turned out to be a lot more frustration than I expected and did not make beaming on any easier, in fact I broke many ends doing so from the abrasion happening on every single thread (my yarn was ultra strong so I can't blame the yarn!). So I bought this raddle and wow! At first I was mad because there were no instructions and the website said 2 contradicting things for placement but I have excellent friends who have Toika's. I hung it off the back right up against the back frame posts and it went so smooth, smoother than any floor loom I have warped. The cap is wonderful to have so that when you go to snap those threads into line without those tangles that they don't jump out and make you start over (like I did because I forgot the cap...) Once I put the cap on it was the smoothest beam on. I LOVE this raddle and highly recommend it to anyone with a Toika. The only negatives is no instructions and it should come in inches because the reeds are inches and so it adds math to the mix which can slow down a lot of people (i.e. me!)
