Ysolda Orchid Thief PDF

In Ysolda's Orchid Thief shawl pattern, three petals bloom from the center top edge, their points organically growing into the three spines of yarn over increases. This unusual increase pattern creates the perfect shape for staying in place around your shoulders. The petals along the edge are grouped into threes, echoing the center and forming deep scallops. Lace patterns are both charted and written out.

Yarn Requirements: 1 hank Malabrigo Sock (100% Superwash Merino; 100g/440yds) shown in Eggplant - note that the sample used almost the entire skein, it is advisable to buy a second skein from the same dyelot just in case.

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch
